The human body and how it works are fascinating to me. Even more interesting is how body manipulation can create positive change in an individual’s condition. As an RMT, I am very much compelled by assisting patients in reaching their goals.
My love of sport and physical activity prompted interests in medicine and the body; becoming a registered massage therapist progressed logically from those interests. Now I have the privilege of helping clients achieve a wide range of objectives — everything from recovering from injury to general conditioning, from getting ready for a triathlon to having the physical capacity to play a musical instrument.
With a Diploma in Massage Therapy from Sir Sandford Fleming College, I have completed three years of a BSc in Physical Education at York University. Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), I am a member the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO). I have worked with professional athletes and helped educate medical residents and Sports Medicine Fellows about massage therapy.
