Certified Athletic Therapist
Along with a desire to work in the athletic field, my history of injuries sparked an interest in athletic therapy. I enjoy the everyday satisfaction of enabling people to participate in the physical activities of their choice.
Since acquiring my certification, I have worked extensively with a variety of professional and semi- professional sports teams, but I also enjoy working with the weekend warrior. I actively seek out courses that will translate to positive results for patients. My most current venture is the most exciting though. I am currently enrolled in courses to become an Osteopathic Practitioner. Looking at the body as a whole system has really changed my views on therapy and most importantly, has translated to great results with patients.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Western University and continued my education with a postgraduate diploma in Sports Injury Management. Following that, I became a Certified Athletic Therapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Registered Kinesiologist.
