Medical Acupuncture Provider
Physiotherapy is a combination of my favourite things: solving puzzles and interacting with people to help them. Improving clients’ health and function through physiotherapy is very rewarding, as is empowering people to understand their injuries and what they can do to help themselves.
A volunteer position at a physiotherapy clinic caused me to fall in love with the profession. Later, interning at The Sports Clinic (TSC) solidified the belief that this was the career for me. TSC’s holistic approach to injury sparked a keen interest in finding the origin of an issue and helping resolve it through manual therapy, education and focused home exercise.
After completing my undergraduate degree in Honours Specialization in Health Sciences at the University of Western Ontario, I graduated with an MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2012. I am also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT) and have accreditation as a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider from McMaster University. As well, I have achieved Visceral Mobilization Level 2 from the Barral Institute and act as a Clinical Instructor for University of Toronto physiotherapy students.
