Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider
I first became interested in the field of physiotherapy after sustaining a sports related injury which required me to go through plenty of rehabilitation. My interest was further solidified after witnessing the benefits of physiotherapy for a family member who was recovering from an illness. Due to these events, I decided to pursue a career as a physiotherapist and am a big advocate for my clients being active participants in their recovery process.
I graduated from the University of Toronto with a MSc in Physical Therapy, prior to which I completed my BSc in Kinesiology with Honours at McMaster University. I am also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). I am dedicated to life-long learning and have completed McMaster University’s Contemporary Medical Acupuncture training, as well as courses in soft tissue release, and concussion management.
My treatment approach uses manual therapy, acupuncture, and exercise to assist individuals recover from injury/illness, achieve their goals, maximize function, and provide them with the tools needed to prevent potential injuries.
