Christina Moores
(Registered Physiotherapist)
I love the clinical reasoning involved in identifying and treating the root cause of a client’s concerns, and I am deeply driven by a passion for caring for the whole person. I find great fulfillment in helping people heal and in supporting them as they work toward their goals—whether that means competing in elite athletic events, returning to exercise after childbirth, or simply being able to walk comfortably around the block.
As a former competitive athlete, I have experienced many injuries firsthand. My early exposure to physiotherapy gave me a strong appreciation for the profession’s hands-on approach and its impact on recovery and performance. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University. I have completed advanced training in manual therapy and acupuncture and am a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), earning my Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2015.
I am also certified in Complete Concussion Management, with training in the assessment and treatment of concussions, as well as the administration of individual and team baseline testing.
For the past 10 years, I have pursued extensive coursework in Pelvic Health, supporting clients with a range of pelvic floor dysfunctions, including incontinence, prolapse, and both female and male pelvic pain. I have developed a particular passion for this population and am committed to educating clients and helping break the stigma surrounding conversations about pelvic floor health.
